  • GEOFF DEFRANCA

    SENIOR PASTOR

Since October of 2002, Kathleen and I began walking The Journey with the people of Community Chapel with a simple desire to share in becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus sent into the world. We understand that the church exists for the world as the vehicle of God's preferred plan for all mankind. A New Jersey native, I came to faith in Christ as a young adult, while serving in the U.S. Navy. I am a graduate of Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colo. and have participated in non-degree graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary focused on missional leadership. We have served congregations in California, Upstate New York and here in Nashua. We have three adult children who all live in the greater Boston area. Given the chance I like to ride a bike, eat good food, read good books, breathe the fresh air of the Maine coast and go to the dump on my day off! Really. I do.

  • MARY DILORETO

    ASSOCIATE PASTOR

I grew up in Massachusetts and was raised in the Catholic tradition. I came to know Christ as my Savior when I was 22 and on my own personal search for God. My husband Joe and I came to Community Chapel in 1998. We have three adult children and three grandsons. I sensed a call into formal ministry in 2004 and was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene in June 2014. I serve in the areas of pastoral care and counsel, focusing on those facing addiction, grief and life-crisis issues, as well as oversight of the administration and building management. My great love is serving people especially in the difficult places of this journey called life. Though I cannot fix problems, I can be Jesus’ heart and hands and offer them the message of hope that came to me back in 1980 through others who loved Christ. I look forward to continuing to serve Him and fulfilling the purpose He has brought to my life. In my free time, I like to walk, to exercise and to read. Biographies of people's spiritual journeys are my favorite reads as well as books on spiritual disciplines. I love the ocean and the mountains and enjoy spending time with family especially our three grandsons God has blessed us with. I love the quiet of the early morning and the stillness of the very late evening.

  • LEANDRA MARCHAND

    NEXT GEN PASTOR

I attended Community Chapel when I was a teenager, and I came to know Jesus during my time with the youth group there. Years later, after getting my undergraduate degree in Youth Ministry and serving in various churches, the Lord has brought me back to this community to journey alongside young people! I have a passion for youth ministry and long to see teens develop a relationship with Christ, work through the hard questions of faith and life, find a place of belonging in the Church, and develop their gifts and talents to be able to serve the Lord and love others wherever they find themselves. I also love adventure, so rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, and camping are some of my favorite things to do! I can't wait to journey alongside you and your family as you seek the Lord!

  • SHIRLEY KALTENBACH

    NCLC AND PART-TIME ON-CALL PASTOR

I was born and raised in Redondo Beach, Calif. I know it is tough to grow up in one of the vacation spots of the world, but someone has to do it. I accepted Jesus as my savior when I was young, but Jesus transformed my life shortly after I graduated from college. My relationship with Him has been deeper, closer since then. After working as a learning disabilities specialist for Hudson Memorial School and in various capacities for Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, and Hewlett Packard, God called me into the ministry. I have attended Community Chapel since 1991 and have been privileged to be a pastor here since 2005. God’s Word holds a fascination for me because it reveals so much of God. I love reading and studying it. I love to talk with people about God, and I thank God for allowing me to see Him work in people’s lives. I also like to read, hike and work in the garden.

  • FERN WOODRUFF

    PART-TIME SAGES PASTOR

I cannot remember a time that I did not want to know and serve Jesus. Over the years, it has been my privilege and joy to serve in many different capacities here at Community Chapel and on the New England District but I am passionate about two areas of ministry in particular – teaching the Word of God and Christian camping.  Most recently God has called me to ministry to senior adults, especially those in nursing homes or other elderly care settings.  In response to that call I completed ministerial training through Nazarene Bible College and was ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene. I also completed two units of Clinical Pastoral Education for chaplaincy, during which time God affirmed this call and gave me a particular concern for people suffering from dementia and their families. It is now my privilege and my joy to serve as the SAGES pastor here at Community Chapel.  My husband Bruce and I live in Londonderry. We have four adult children and five grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy reading, games and puzzles, walking, bird watching, the ocean, exploring new places, and doing anything (except watching football!) with friends and family.

  • MARY HARDWICK

    CHILDREN'S MINISTRY COORDINATOR

I am a native central New Yorker hailing from a small town outside of Syracuse. I was raised in the Episcopal church, less one year when I attended a Baptist church. At 9 years old I gave my life to Jesus during a children’s sermon in that church. My faith journey has included the Catholic, Baptist and Methodist churches, and even regular attendance in synagogue with my college best friend! Throughout my life’s journey, God has ignited and fueled a passion in my heart for children, teaching and helping them to come to know Jesus. This passion led me to complete an A.S. in Early Childhood Education and a B.S. in Special Education k-12 and Elementary Education k-6, as well as a lengthy tenure from college to the present as a Sunday School teacher. My husband John and I, with our now 2 adult sons, came to Community Chapel in 2002. I enjoy reading, hiking with my cheeky little terrier mix Cooper, watching collegiate sports (Go Orange!) and spending time with my family including my identical twin sister.

  • JAMES SHETLER

    WORSHIP MINISTRY DIRECTOR

I was brought up in the Church of the Nazarene, calling St. Paul’s Church of the Nazarene in Duxbury, MA my home church for many years. My wife Molly and I have attended Community Chapel since 2015. We take special joy in our two sons. I have been a musician for my entire life, whether it be playing one of a variety of instruments, singing, or teaching. While in college and grad school, I attended the First Baptist Church of Amherst, MA, where I was regularly involved in their music ministry, including directing their choir and playing in their instrumental ensemble. My music teaching career includes 9 years in Massachusetts and New Hampshire public schools and several years of teaching private lessons. I feel called to use the gifts God has blessed me with to help draw people closer to the Lord. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, riding my bike, narrating audiobooks, and watching sports on TV.

  • PAULA COLEMAN

    BOOKKEEPER

I grew up in Billerica, MA with a strong Catholic heritage that taught me the importance of attending church and spending time in prayer and how to love God.  I had the influence of a Grandfather who loved the Lord and had a heart for people and spent his whole life serving.  At the age of 13 I came to know Jesus as my savior and have been blessed to walk with Him ever since.  My husband and I have lived in Londonderry, NH for 19 years now.  We have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren.  I am one of the bookkeepers for Community Chapel and have been blessed by a job that has given me the flexibility first to raise my own children, and now to be able to provide almost full time care for my grandchildren.  I love the outdoors, hiking and playing soccer, but my favorite is spending time with my family.
