Sunday Morning

Sunday Journey Groups meet at 9:00 AM

  • New Journey Group  - Nehemiah

If you are not in a journey group setting currently, we have a 12 week study on Nehemiah beginning on Sunday, April 6th at 9:00 AM in Room 302 on Sunday morning! All are welcome to join us. It will be held in the education wing every Sunday (except for Easter Sunday.)

Nehemiah was in leadership during an extraordinary time in Israel's history. He faced opposition from all sies—both from his own people and from outside forces. Nehemiah's gifts in administration and perseverance enabled him to mold his people back into "the people of God" so they could obey God's commands and have a distinction from the people around them. It was not enough to just build the wall—he had to build a people that would once again stand on their own as God led them. In these troubling days, God is calling us to important tasks as His followers. Come join us as we learn together from the example of Nehemiah.

  • Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual Warfare by Jack Kuhatschek meets Sundays in Room 305 at 9:00 AM. What is spiritual warfare? What does it look like? How does it affect us? The Bible has much to say about the battles we face. These studies will deepen our understanding of our supernatural struggle and direct us to sources of power and hope. This LifeGuide Bible Study in the new revised format features questions for starting group discussions and for meeting God in personal reflection, as well as a new "Now or Later" section in each study. Books can be purchased on Christianbooks.com and on Amazon.

  • Gospel of John

The Gospel of John by NT Wright meets Sundays in Room 306 at 9:00 AM. When you read detective stories, you quickly learn that what may look like an irrelevant little detail may actually be the clue to solving the mystery. A good writer will put in all kinds of detail; nothing is there by accident. Nothing in John's Gospel is there by accident either. And all the details in John are designed ultimately to come together. In these studies we discover the clues John gives that we might see even more clearly the reality of who Jesus is, the new creation he inaugurates and the difference that all makes. In this study you will discover those details; those themes; these truly profound theological realities. As such, this book is an excellent resource for anyone-or any group-that wants to dig into the meat of John's Gospel more fully. Books can be purchased at Amazon or Christianbooks.com
