Women's Groups

These Journey Groups are designated for women.

  • Women's Wednesday Morning Journey Group

This group will resume on Wednesday, September 16th from 10:00-11:30 AM in Room 303.  The book of Acts chronicles some of the most important events in Christian history: the scattering of Jesus's disciples across the known world, the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the early church, and more.  Plumbing the theological depths, this guide explains the biblical text with clarity and passion - helping us understand the history-shaping events that took place in the years following Christ's ascension.  Books available at Christianbooks.com and Amazon.

  • Women's Wednesday Evening Journey Group

This group will resume on Wednesday, September 23rd from 6:30-8:00 PM in Room 302 and will be studying Revelations by N.T. Wright. Many people today regard Revelation as the hardest book in the New Testament. It is full of strange, lurid and sometimes bizarre and violent imagery. As a result, many people who are quite at home in the Gospels, Acts and Paul find themselves tiptoeing around Revelation with a sense that they don't really belong there. But they do! In fact, Revelation offers one of the clearest and sharpest visions of God's ultimate purpose for the whole creation, and of the way in which the powerful forces of evil, at work in a thousand ways, can be and are being overthrown through the victory of Jesus the Messiah and the consequent costly victory of his followers.  Books available at Christianbooks.com and Amazon.

  • MOM’s GROUP: 1st & 3rd Saturday Mornings 9:00-10:30 AM

This group will resume on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9:00-10:30 AM in Room 302, starting on September 19th.  Gospel-Centered Motherhood is a booklet that covers a wide range of topics related to the beautiful calling of motherhood. It covers topics like discipleship in the home, guarding your marriage, mom guilt, discipline, perseverance, emotions, and more. Every topic has related Scriptures to meditate on and questions to consider to prompt prayer. Motherhood is a gift, and the ultimate aim is to glorify Christ in and through it.  Books available at Christianbooks.com and Amazon.  All are welcome.  Childcare will be provided by amazing church volunteers for children who have moms attending the group!
