Women's Groups

These Journey Groups are designated for women.

  • Wednesday Morning Group

"In this Bible study of Philippians, Paul's secret joy is revealed through his confidence in Christ. He aims to inspire his ancient readers and modern Christians to persevere in the work of Christ, and tells them how to find peace in this world. Through this study participants will be challenged to apply God's Word to their life." We will begin on January 14, 2026, Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:30 AM in Room 302.  Please read pages 5-13 prior to our first meeting. Books available at Christianbooks.com and Amazon

  • Wednesday Evening Group

This group meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in Room 302 and is studying Romans 8-16: In view of God’s mercy.  In this seven-session study of Romans 8-16, Timothy Keller shows groups how to live life in response to God's mercy, by the power of his Spirit. He says that Romans 8 contains the secret to real life change. Keller's trademark gifts of making the complex clear and the difficult joyful will mean Christians will love studying the Bible alongside this resource, and be inspired to apply it to their hearts and lives. This book can be purchased online at Christianbooks.com or Amazon

Note: this group will not be meeting on Wednesday, December 24th or on Wednesday, December 31st.  Happy Holidays!

  • 1st & 3rd Saturday Mornings Moms' Group

This group is open to all NCLC and Community Chapel moms and will start a new study on January 3rd from 9:00-10:30 AM in Room 302.  If you are looking to connect with other moms and grow deeper in your faith, join us this winter for a video series called “Not What I Signed Up For.”  Together we will wrestle with life’s twist and turns and learn how to see God’s promises in times of uncertainty.  All are welcome.  In addition, the group will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.  Childcare will be provided by amazing church volunteers for children who have moms attending the group!  Call or text Alyssa Gentry with questions at 603-264-6059.
